Profile

Felipe Delgado Breinbauer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Transport Engineering and Logistics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from the same institution. His research focuses on transportation systems, with particular emphasis on air transport operations, public transport systems, and the application of optimization and simulation methods for decision-making under uncertainty.

Professor Delgado has held visiting research positions at institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of New South Wales, and TU Delft. His work spans both methodological developments and applied projects, including collaborations with airlines, civil aviation authorities, and public sector organizations.
